Online Advertising Guidelines and Deadlines
General Online Advertising Guidelines
- Times-Shamrock Communications (TSC) reserves the right to reject any advertising campaign, for any reason. TSC reserves the right to reject any insertion, graphic, text description, or URL.
- TSC does not accept commercial messages that are misleading, illegal, inaccurate or fraudulent; that make unfair competitive claims or that contain material that violates applicable law.
- All expandable ads must have a close button with clearly defined copy- “Close X”
- Unless otherwise specified, all audio within an ad unit must be user initiated
- Flash will not render properly on mobile devices, including tablets. All ad units targeted to mobile devices will need to be programmed in HTML 5, JPEG or GIF.
- Please notify us prior to campaign start date if a screen shot is required. Screen shots will be not available past the campaign end date.
Deadlines
- Please allow up to 48 hours for Times Shamrock Creative Services (TSCS) online advertising production
- All insertion orders and approved creative must be received by AdOps a minimum of 48 hours prior to campaign start date (See Adops Naming Conventions and Deadlines document)
Inappropriate Advertising
- Guns/Firearms
- Illicit Drugs
- Graphic Violence
- Nudity
- Pornography
- Potentially slanderous or libelous content
- Misleading language
- False or misleading claims
- Vulgar language
- Any advertising content that violates applicable laws, rules, or regulations

Animation limited to :15
No more than 3 transitions
Looping/Replays must be user initiated
(If Times-Shamrock is creating the expansion we can only accept JPGs. A 110×35 space must be reserved to the far right of the 950×35 and bottom right corner of 950×295)
Video:
Accepted formats: MOV, WAV, FLV, MP4, AVI, MPEG, WVM
All pre-roll video commercials must be limited to 15 seconds
